How to get from Hanoi > Sapa

My boyf and I took the night train (morning ride available too) to Sapa (Sapaly Train). We booked the VIP cabin via Sapaly Express train (air conditioned) which includes:

Each Guest:

x1 mineral water bottle, tooth paste, x1 paper napkin, x1 comb, x1 slippery.

For VIP Cabin(2 beds): + x1 Snack, x2 Soft drinks We paid about $339.58/pax 2 ways. Pricely but it was a good experience! It’s really comfy (other than it’s bumpy) and it feels like a 4 star hotel ✨ You need to arrive at the train station 1hr early.

Duration: 7-8hrs ride

Hanoi > Lao Cai

- You’ll need to collect your physical ticket at the mini mart outside the station before heading in. Lao Cai > Sapa - You’ll need to take a transport reach Sapa (approx 1.5hrs ride) via:

1) Public bus (40k Vnd, SGD$2.35) - we chose this option.

2) Book private car to Sapa, pricey

3) The train staff may even offer you a shared van ride which cost (60k Vnd, SGD$3.50) Lao Cai > Hanoi

- You’ll need to collect your physical ticket at the mini mart outside OPPOSITE the station before heading in. You make ask the person at the mini mart inside the station if pure unsure! ,May 2023
