🍓 Seoul Day Trip Idea: STRAWBERRY PICKING in Korea

Planning a trip to Seoul, Korea?

You should definitely include a 𝗱𝗮𝘆-𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺 🥰🍓

I recently visited this strawberry farm at Yangsu-ri, and had the loveliest experience there 🤍 They have different packages to choose from, and the one I chose was the Picking + Eating + Jam-making one! 🥰 The whole experience takes about 1.5-2h, depending on how much time you take to pick the strawberries!

✨ 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲

Trust me when I say that these are the sweetest strawberries you’ll ever have! I know I know, you’ve tried sweet Korean strawberries HAHA but these strawberries are different!! They’re even better than the store-bought ones because they’re freshly picked (and by you!) 🤭

✨ 𝗩𝗶𝗯𝗲

The host was a very friendly lady dressed like a farm girl, which was really cute! And there is also an indoor area for you to eat your strawberries which they decorated nicely, giving it a very homely and cozy vibe which I loved 🤍

✨ 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲

In total, I paid 60k KRW (~$60) for 2 pax, which includes eating, picking (you get to bring one box back home) and making of 2 jars of jam! Which is value-for-money in my honest opinion, considering the fact that it’s a unique experience 🥰

📍 How to get there?

There are two ways for you to visit this farm:

𝟭) 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁

The journey takes about 1.5h from Seoul area. You’ll first have to take the train to Yangsu village (includes 1-2 switches) and then take a bus within Yangsu from Yangsu train station to the strawberry farm. Alternatively you can take a cab from Yangsu train station which costs about 4000KRW (~S$4)!

This is how I travelled there but to be honest, I wouldn’t recommend this - it was quite troublesome as you’ll need to switch trains a few times. It’s not impossible (because it’s what I did HAHA), but I don’t recommend it 😅 I’d rather save the travelling time to explore other parts of Seoul hehe.

𝟮) 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲

If you prefer to not travel there by yourself, I would recommend this tour package ! In addition to visiting the strawberry farm, you also get to visit Nami Island etc, which is a great option if you haven’t been!
