I solely shop on amazon when I need something in a pinch. Or, when I’m looking for a good dupe 😉

I’m a person that prefers to “TRY BEFORE I BUY” You just never know how something may look on your body compared to the photos! But doing my due diligence has led me to Amazon success.

Also, I’m far too lazy to go through the process of re-bagging and returning an item.😭 Now I’m rambling, let’s talk AMAZON!

Im a marketing girlie and I use the power of SEO to find exactly what I need. For those of you who don’t know what that means it stands for “Search Engine Optimization” sites like Amazon use key words to sort, tag, and filter it’s millions of products which have tons duplicates, sold by hundreds of different sellers on the e-commerce platform.🤓

To put it simply that dress you saw on that one Influencer on Tiktok that has it linked in their Amazon store front? I guarantee the same dress is being sold by someone else at a lower price. You just gotta dig a little deeper and you may discover new cute things along the way!

THIS IS NOT TO STOP THE AMAZON GIRLIES BAGS AT ALL! I want us all to win, but I also want my wallet to win too ❤️ Put a little extra work in and have some patience, and you’ll get all your trendy finds at a great price.

1. PRODUCT RESEARCH

Like I said before, I truly only use Amazon for when I need a fit in a pinch, or when I know exactly what look I want to execute knowing I can build it from Amazon. I do a little tiktok scrolling and searching for “wedding looks” “vacation outfits” etc. then head to the influencer Amazon links then add the items to my cart.

2. KEYWORD RESEARCH

Now this is the part that takes some patience. Take a look at the items you added to your cart, look closely at their titles, usually it’s a jumble of key words that like “Y2K” “maxi” “midi” “green” “sheer” “party” “guest” when you search for clothing on Amazon utilize the key words to pin point the exact products or “niche” you’re looking for. With this technique I’ve discovered new things I wasn’t planning on finding, it works!

3. PHOTO REVIEWS

This is my rule of thumb, DO NOT TRUST A REVIEW THAT DOESN’T HAVE A RECENT PHOTO ATTACHED TO IT! PERIOD. NOW THIS IS TEA!! I’ve learned that there are Amazon shoppers who are paid to make a purchase of clothing items just to get the “verified shopper” badge, then leave a 5 star review and are sent money on the side. A lot of items on Amazon as I’m sure you all know have COOKED BOOKS! That’s why I stick to my rule for anything I buy on that site. If there aren’t enough photos of actual people wearing the item, I won’t purchase. I.e Photos of the item on a bed spread, girl put the dress on I’m trying to see something 🙄
