Highly recommend Westgate Hotel Taipei!❤️💖

Highly recommend this hotel in Taipei! (pictures are taken from google (except bottom right 3rd pic)- because I didn’t take a picture of my room but it looks exactly like the one online)

Context: So I recently went to Taipei and booked this 4-stars hotel in Ximending. I really love staying here and made my trip to Taipei much more enjoyable.

There are a few things I really liked about this hotel and will be sharing below!

📍Recommendation for:

🛍️ Shopping : It’s conveniently located at Ximending, and about 3-5 min walk from Ximen MRT Station Exit 6! I arrived at Taiwan in the evening and by the time I reached the hotel it was close to 9pm. But finding food to eat the moment I reached the hotel wasn’t a problem, because there are many restaurants and street food around the area. Also, there are a lot of shops to shop from too (great for those who always need to get souvenirs last minute 😉)

👩🏻‍💼👨🏻‍💼Service: The staffs were really friendly and efficient. I appreciated that one of them who sent our luggages up to our room took the initiative to take out his shoes when bringing our luggage in. Also, because my flight back to SG was in the morning and had to leave the hotel by 5am 😬 I asked the hotel staff to help book a cab for us. Not only did they helped us book it but also prepared breakfast for us too because they said we will miss their breakfast buffet which starts at 7am 🥹 (3rd pic on the bottom right) - not sure if other hotels in Taipei does this too? (but I really appreciated this thoughtful gesture)
