Titian- Portrait of a Man in a Red Cap

Two portraits of young men have been ascribed to the years immediately following Titian's stay at Padua (c. 1513–1515): namely the Man with a Red Cap and the Man with a Glove. The Frick Collection dates the former picture slightly later (c. 1516).

Claude Monet- Water Lilies and Japanese Bridge
French, 1840-1926
Oil on Canvas
The paintings depict his flower garden at his home in Giverny, and were the main focus of his artistic production during the last thirty years of his life. Many of the works were painted while Monet suffered from cataracts.
I personally love his paintings! Monet is a huge inspiration for me. I feel like his paintings have the ability to tell a story or portray an image without needing realism. Of course there is a special place in my heart for all the people who have the ability to create great realism, although I feel the way Monet paints portrays not just what it is, but also the essence of it; because of his brand of expressionism.
