How to deal with them?

Ever since the new neighbors moved in upstairs a few months ago, my life has become a living hell. These people seem to be nonstop noise machines.

It starts every morning around 6am with loud thumping and banging, like they're rearranging the furniture or something. Then the kid(s) start shrieking and crying while the parents yell at them.

Throughout the day, it's a constant stomp stomp stomp from them just walking around normally. I can hear every conversation, TV show, video game, you name it, through the floors and walls.

And the nighttime is the worst - they'll have other friends/family over until the wee hours, talking and laughing at full volume. Sometimes there's even jumping or dancing going on?? Who knows.

I've complained to the landlord twice now, but they said their hands are tied unless I can get other neighbors to complain too (which I can't because it's only me they're above).

What else can I possibly do?? I can't just move out - my lease isn't up for another year and breaking it isn't an option. #NoisyNeighbors #CantSleeP #ApartmentLife #AskLemon8
