SOURDOUGH EGG TARTS?? SIGN ME UP 🥰

If you ever visit Hong Kong, one of the things on your must eat bucketlist is definitely egg tarts!! Majority of the local shops in Hong Kong do sell it BUT if you are looking for some unique egg tarts , Bakehouse iconic sourdough egg tarts should be on your bucketlist 🤩

📍Sourdough Egg Tarts (HK12/2SGD)

The exterior pastry was super SUPER flaky and since it was made out of sourdough, the interior had a contrasting chewy texture instead. The custard itself was super creamy and it had a melt in your mouth taste ontop of its silky smooth texture!! LITERALLY THE BEST THING I ATE AND TASTED IN HK 😍

Rating: 10/10 (MUST VISIT)

Btw I did asked the workers and they did confirm that the egg tarts were vegetarian as they did not use any meat or lard during baking 🌱

Final verdict: Definitely a must visit in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 The taste was super unique and it is definitely something different as compared to the traditional egg tarts. Moreover, there are mutiple outlets making it easily accessible BUT they do sell out very easily so do reach there early 🕰️ Bakehouse also do offer other pastries & brunch options and I would definitely try them when I come back to buy their egg tarts
