Ingredients:

2¼ cups gluten-free all-purpose flour with xanthan gum (I used Bob's Red Mill 1:1)

2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

½ cup salted butter

1½ cups shredded cheddar

½ cup milk

2 eggs

Preheat oven to 400° F.

In large bowl, combine dry ingredients.

Cut butter into cubes. Add butter into dry ingredients bowl, and coat with dry mixture. break apart the butter repeatedly, combining into dry ingredients without melting the butter. (I did this using my hands.

Add shredded cheese to the mixture.

Combine milk and eggs into a separate bowl, then add this to the mixture.

Use a paddle or fork to fold ingredients together until combined.

Put mixture on parchment paper and create around 1 1/2 inch tall, circular shape. Cut into 8 pieces. Place on your cookie sheet and bake for about 20-28 mins. Gluten free baking can vary in baking times, so just check for a golden brown color.
