I'm back with another potato based meal! I was scrolling Tik Tok last night and saw a creator (@ fayette_nyehn on IG & TT) that said she lost my goal weight amount by cooking these sheet pan meals. Once I saw the steak & potato one, I knew I had to try it. I looove potatoes & I love a good steak and I will say that this meal was GOOD AF! All I could imagine was subbing the ground beef for steak in my previous taco potato bowl recipe 🤤. Now you know Ima always switch up a recipe with my own twists. I just use TT & Pinterest as inspirations and let my creativity take over. If you want a video visual, you can watch the original creator's video but of course I'm going to give my suggestions to make it better because I need alllll the flavor!

My biggest suggestion is buying thin + boneless ribeye & cubing it yourself vs. buying the pre cubed beef stew meat. If your grocery store sells cubed ribeye, then go for it! But the cubed beef cuts will definitely be on the tougher side vs using ribeye. You can remove the fat if you want, but I personally left it on for the flavor. In the video, she puts everything on one pan & uses the same seasonings but I did not go that route. I seasoned the meat & potatoes separately with different seasonings, put the mushrooms & onions on a smaller pan, & cooked the green beans on the stove top. I prefer my green beans sautéed & I am not the biggest onion + mushroom person (hence me cooking them separately.

After the recipe, I will list the seasonings I used for each part of the meal.

Ingredients:

- thin & boneless ribeye steak

- white potatoes

- green beans

- pre sliced mushrooms

- onion, sliced

- olive oil

- seasonings (see list below)

- butter (optional)

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Wash the meat and potatoes. Cut the steak into cubes and chop the potatoes.

3. In separate bowls, coat the steak and potatoes with olive oil, then season to taste.

4. Arrange the steak and potatoes on a foil-lined, greased baking sheet. If using mushrooms and onions, you can add them to the same sheet. For picky eaters, use a separate smaller pan.

5. Bake for 40 minutes. Five minutes before the time is up, place a few slices of butter over the steak. Start sautéing the green beans at this point.

6. Enjoy your meal!

steak | minced garlic, onion powder, black pepper, hickory smoked sea salt, worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, rosemary, oregano

potatoes | onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, tony cachere's, rosemary, paprika, sweet basil

green beans | minced garlic, onion powder, salt, lemon pepper, fresh lemon juice
