I finally customized my nintendo switch joycons

I finally customized my Nintendo switch joycons! I got all the materials from extremerate.com! they can also be found on amazon.

The products I used are the “soft touch Nintendo switch joycon shells” in the color cherry blossom, and the “jelly button two tone white and clear Nintendo switch joycon buttons” in the color white.

The joycon shells were $20.99 and the buttons were $13.29.

The joycon shells were pretty easy to put on! It was a bit confusing at first, but the company has videos on their YouTube and there’s plenty of other tutorials online to follow. Watching the tutorial and pausing it on each step made the process go smoothly! The kit comes with everything you need including two screwdrivers, extra screws in 3 sizes, and extra springs. I lost a few of my parts during the process so I was super thankful for all the extras lol.

The buttons are super simple, you literally just drop them in the holes on the joycon shell when putting it back together! No screws or confusing parts.

The only part I struggled with was the fact that I used my oldest joycons cause I was afraid id mess them up (I didn’t, its really easy I promise) so the screws were super old and hard to get out. But that’s totally a me problem and depending on your joycons / the age of your switch you probably wont have this issue.

Overall, I think it came out so good and its much cheaper than buying a pair of custom joycons! 10/10 recommend.
