INGREDIENTS-
150 g minced pork (minced chicken will be nice too)
1 packet of tofu, cut into cubes
1 cm ginger, grated
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp green pepper corns
1 tsp red peppercorns
Toast peppercorns over Low heat and grind them in a mortar and pestle
1 tbsp Pixian doubanjiang (fermented bean paste)
You can substitute with normal bean paste if you can’t find this special one
A few drops of dark soy sauce
Some corn starch slurry
Pour some oil in a pan
Add minced garlic and ginger and fry till fragrant.
Add minced meat into pan and break meat up as much as possible.
Add bean paste and mix.
If mixture is too dry, add some water.
Once the meat mixture boils, add tofu into the pan and gently stir to mix.
Garnish the dish with spring onions and coriander leaves.
There you have it, an excuse to eat way too many bowls of rice 🍚
