I enjoyed this book! I would recommend it to someone who struggles with mental health or has an unstable family life. It was intriguing and I finished it in one day. The themes make you think about your own perspectives and I was able to self reflect a bit.

The writing itself isn’t amazing by any means but the story line was interesting and it’s the perfect book for one of those days where you have nothing to do and want to finish a book in one sitting.

I actually really enjoyed the character development of Merit, the main character but the love interest didn’t sit right with me and I didn’t actually enjoy this book because of the odd romance. I think it actually would have been better without it!
