boy advice I would give my younger self ☁️🫶🏼

(some of these I still need to remind myself about🙃)

🎓Don’t prioritize boys over school, your future, or yourself. It’s unlikely that your teenage relationships are going to be the ones to last for your entire life. They’re great experience, and they should be fun, but they shouldn’t be the most important aspect of your life.

🌷Focus on yourself and your self growth! Discovering your hobbies, the things you’re passionate about, your goals, your strengths and weaknesses.

🪽If a boy doesn’t like you, at least they’re saving your time by letting you know early! It hurts, but it’s actually a blessing in disguise in the long run, because you can move on instead of chasing him and being fed lies.

✨It’s important to have a strong sense of who you are and what you like, and not let your identity completely change because of a guy. If you like going out, dressing a specific way, posting on social media, spending a lot of time with your family etc. you shouldn’t stop doing what brings you joy because a guy is controlling or insecure. Sure, every relationship needs compromises, but don’t allow yourself to be walked over. That’s why girls often feel lost without a relationship- because they have based their self-identity and self-worth around being with someone, and they don’t know how to spend time alone with their own selves.

🧸Thats also why there’s no need to change for a guy to like you. Being open to try new things is amazing, but if he doesn’t like you for who you are then he is not the best match for you.

🩷Lastly, listen to your gut feeling! If it feels wrong it probably is. If it makes you feel uncomfortable act accordingly
