Bought my winter clothes from Taobao ❄️🤍

I’m a regular consumer on #taobao - clothes, jewelry, pet toys, phone / watch accessories, you name it, I have bought it at least once. 🤭 Anyway, I’m heading to Korea in autumn and sharing my recently discovered stores on TB that I’ve just ordered from - waiting patiently (and vvv eagerly) for my package to come. I know Korea is also known as a ladies shopping haven but here’s why I’m ordering my autumn/ winter clothes from TB:

🤍 IT’S CHEAP

Tbh having been to Korea a few times, unless you’re buying clothes from specific Korean brands, many of the clothing in stores along Hongdae are quite similar to what you can find on Taobao. (many times even cheaper) 😅

🤍 CAN READ THE REVIEWS

This is especially important for winter clothes I feel. Sometimes when you buy a winter coat in stores and you’re not really sure if it’s thick or warm enough for your trip! On Taobao, you have people who already tried and leave reviews, and since it’s China with even colder winter temperatures, you can count on the reviews. When I was in Prague during winter and had a coat from Taobao vs ZARA, I felt that the Taobao coat was warmer. Of course it depends on the materials used and most chain stores like ZARA and H&M use polyester instead of wool, so while they are trendy, they aren’t vvv warm.

Of course, there are things I prefer to buy from SG / Shopee like my new earbuds 🤎
