Attention all plant and flower lovers of NYC! If you haven't been to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden yet, what are you doing?! This is one of my favorite places in Brooklyn during the spring/summer, especially during cherry blossom season. It's also within walking distance to Prospect Park which is the perfect place for a spring picnic after a lovely stroll in the gardens.
The garden has 3 main entrances which are all near subway stations.
150 Eastern Parkway: Take the 2 or 3 train to Eastern Parkway-Brooklyn Museum
455 Flatbush Ave: Take the B or Q train to Prospect Park (note that the B doesn't run on weekends)
990 Washington Ave: Take the 4,5 or shuttle train to Franklin Ave
The garden is open 6 days a week. Current hours are below but they change depending on the season.
Tues: 10-8pm
Weds: 10-6pm
Thurs: 10-8pm
Fri-Sun: 10-6pm
