NYC RESTAURANT REVIEW: BROOKYLN FARMACY

I came across Brooklyn Farmacy & Soda Fountain one hot summer weekend while I was on my way to checkout another dessert place down the street (Ban Be). The super cute and vintage looking exterior stood out to me so I decided to check it out on my way home. Unfortunately it wasn't open yet so I made a mental note to come back another day and I am so glad I did.

Brooklyn Farmacy and Soda Fountains used to be a 1920s apothecary. It was a family owned neighborhood drugstore called Longo's Drugs that unfortunately became forgotten and abandoned. Fortunately in 2010 the new owners were able to restore and renovate the space, keeping some of the original architecture like the tin ceiling and penny tile floor.

You can find this charming ice cream parlor and soda fountain in Carroll Gardens (address below). They're open everyday from 2-10pm and it's the perfect place for an afternoon snack or a cute date night!
