Hi Lemonies! ๐โจ Itโs been a few months since I came back from my first holiday since Covid lockdowns & honestly, my feet really koyak towards the end of the trip because of my choice of shoes ๐ญ
I wore my New Balance 327 & New Balance is known for being lightweight & comfy, which this model is light & comfy, but the base is not that thick so after long walks, you can feel the impact of the ground on your feet. I tested the shoes before the trip but I donโt walk that much in Malaysia hence it was still okay for leisure walking. I also didnโt buy the right socks length which caused the back of the shoes to cut my ankle & bleed ๐ญ Thankfully I brought a pair of loafers & some shoe pads which were perfectly comfy to walk in while still looking stylish. ๐คญ
Anyway summarising my 6 tips for comfy walks when travelling:
1/ choose shoes with thick & light soles
2/ always buy socks higher than the back of your shoes
3/ ready stick plasters at the back of your ankle to avoid friction & bleeding from wrong socks
4/ always prepare shoe pads
5/ find shoes with low, soft & curved backing
6/ choose running shoes if you donโt mind not fashionable footwear for your travel photos
Thanks for reading till the end! Hope this is useful for you & see you in my next post ๐คญโค๏ธ #YearEndTravel #travelwithlemon8 #BadExperience #WeeklyInspo #ShoesAndBags #shoes #shoesrecommendation #NotRecommended
