Hi Lemonies! 🍋✨ I’ve always wanted to create a mini garden space in my room with a plant stand consisting of several potted plants. I’ve currently got 2 money plants in my bathroom & might slowly add more 😂 Over the weekend as my hubs & I were otw back home, I just thought to drop by the nearby nursery to get a desk plant which I’ve been wanting to get to fill my IKEA pot I bought last month.

Along the area of Katsura Garden Centre, there’s actually many other nurseries & shops that sells fish & anything related to your garden. We just randomly picked this place because it looked like the best place to get a small plant. There’s lots of varieties from potted plants & flowers, cactuses, air plants, water plants in small, medium & big sizes. I caught my eye on a pretty monstera pot but it was way too big 😂 Maybe next time? 👀 Prices are very reasonable & mostly in great condition ✨

I bought the Calathea roseopicta - label was RM20, but the guy charged me RM18 only though I didn’t even asked for cheaper price 😂 If I managed to take care of this plant well, I shall get another. But we’ll see because I used to have a cactus that somehow managed to turn black 💀😂

Plant care instructions:

💧 Water: damp the soil every 5-7 days

☀️ Sun: likes sunlight but not direct sunlight, good as indoor plant placed near window 🪟

🪴 Fertilise: every 2 weeks

I googled this & apparently it’s an auspicious plant for good fengshui if placed near a door, it can help bring in good fortune 💰🤭😂
