Dreamy Garden Solemnisation Venue with Aircon 💐👰🏻‍♀️

🎀 Reviewing Amara Sanctuary Resort’s Glass Pavilion as a solemnisation venue 🎀

Venue: located within Sentosa, Amara Sanctuary Resort is accessible by the hotel’s shuttle bus (pick up from VivoCity) or by driving. The solemnisation venue is called the Glass Pavilion or aka the “Glass Chapel”.

Capacity: Fits at least 30 seated guests in theatre style. The hotel staff also mentioned that it’s possible to do round table setting for couples that only do solemnisation without a ballroom banquet.

Details: The bridal march in was this sloped path right beside the glass pavilion (pic 5). We were told a buggy would drive the bride from the bridal villa to the start of the path, so the bride wouldn’t be in the rain/sun much.

Cost: we were quoted $3888++ inclusive of the set up (such as the floral arch and chairs) in mid 2023. If you sign a ballroom package with them during their wedding fair, this solemnisation venue could be a free perk (meaning $0), but the catch is that it would exclude the floral deco.

What we liked:

✅ soooo dreamy and magical! 🪄 It’s very green and picturesque yet sheltered with aircon so there’s no need to worry about wet weather 👍🏻 you get the best of both worlds!

✅ The salesperson/coordinator was nice, knowledgeable and non-pushy :)

✅ The resort’s ballroom (for our banquet) was spacious and pillarless, and had a large reception area.

Why we didn’t choose this venue: on our first visit, we were almost sold and wanted to sign but we decided to do a second visit without the salesperson to confirm our decision. Sadly we were bitten all over by mosquitos on our second visit when we dwelled slightly longer outside the glass pavilion 😐 As I have eczema, insect bites can haunt me for weeks if I scratch the bites even just once. Even though there were no mosquitoes on our first visit, we decided not to take the risk in case I get all itchy and uncomfortable on our wedding day 🥲

Overall: really worth considering!! 🤩
