Tis the season for baking! I made this blondies from Tastes Better From Scratch the other day and they were SO good. I left out the butterscotch chips and chocolate chips and opted for a white chocolate macadamia nut version instead. It tastes just like the cookie, just in bar form!

Ingredients:

10 Tablespoons butter , melted

2 cups light brown sugar , packed

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup macadamia nuts, chopped

1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9×13-inch pan with cooking spray or line with parchment paper.

Mix together the melted butter and brown sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix.

Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and mix just until combined.

Stir in the white chocolate chips and nuts.

Bake for 24-28 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for about 20 minutes before cutting.
