How I went from Black to Blonde with ✨Curly✨ Hair

This hair is a dream come true but it took some special hair magic to make it happen!

Rule number 1: PROTECT THE CURLS

Whenever you bleach hair, you’re bleaching it.. but there are steps you can take to retain your curls integrity and keep them full of life!

We used a special bleach made for Asian hair which is harder to lift color in. This bleach works well at a low volume which also protected my curl pattern and ensures that my curls kept their shape after the processing was done!

I love this hair color for curls because once it’s blonde, all you have to do is tone it from time to time and if your hair lifts as crazy light as mine, you only ever need to process that section of hair one time!

My hair did need a trim badly after this process especially since I hadn’t cut it in 2 years, so I’ll make another post about how I cut it and what that process was like 🥰
