A stableman will lead you and your horse and go with you into the water. When going into deep water or waves, the horse may rise up with their front legs and push off the bottom with their back legs to start swimming. If your horse does this, just lean forward holding on to your horses’ neck rope. Enjoy the thrill of being in the ocean on horseback. In the unlikely event that you should come off your horse, do not worry, the water will be refreshing and it is very easy to get back on the horse in the water.
