STORYTIME: how i became 911 🚨

literally had nooo interest in anything within law enforcement or criminal justice and randomly ended up being a dispatcher.

i loved being a preschool teacher but i was opening and closing daily while in college and learned i was the lowest paid employee at my job. people who were hired a year after me were getting almost 40% more than what i did & i just had to move on.

my aunt worked front desk at the station and wanted me to work with her but during my hiring process, the position was given to someone else. since i had done so much already, they offered me to go to 911 which paid more than the desk anyway 🤗

i have since been here for almost 3 years and i love it. definitely do not see myself leaving anytime soon :)
