the best place to develop film 🎞 — whampoa cc

hello friends!! i’ve been shooting film for probably over a year or two now, so i’ve been trying out different places to develop my film, and i’ve found my favourite spot!

📍 whampoa colour centre

it costs $12 to develop a 35mm roll, which i know there are cheaper places to do it in sg, but i think it is WORTH IT.

my usual film roll is kodak gold, and somehow the colours always come out more saturated when i develop them here 🫶🏻 i developed my film once at this shop near LASALLE/rochor, the colours came out so dull :<

their turnover time is also quite fast imo, i tend to visit near opening hours (11am) and i usually receive the pics before 6pm.

aside from that, they also sell a wide variety of film at reasonable pricing — eg kodak gold is $14, nowadays even shopee sells it for $17… i’m not too sure where else sells it for cheaper, if you know please share in the comments 😭
