These are three popular reads that I read in 2023…that were horrible.
1. LAYLA by Colleen Hoover
Some people hate all of her books, but I have enjoyed a few. This was not one of them. I don’t even know how to describe this book other than just…too weird for my taste.
2. YOU’VE REACHED SAM by Dustin Thao
This was supposed to be a good sad read, and the first fourth of the book was. However, after then it just became repetitive. I feel like this would have been better as a novella.
3. NORMAL PEOPLE by Sally Rooney
You either love or hate this book…I hate it. I understand miscommunication was the point of the book, but these characters were too frustrating for my taste.
