Five-star Thrillers

Chances are when I’m reading, I’m probably reading some sort of romance. I’ve always loved thriller and mystery books too but I have never known what to pick up and I’m just recently discovering some really good ones. Before these Verity by Colleen Hoover was probably the most thriller type of book I can remember reading in the recent years!

First is Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney. In this book, a married couple goes away on a weekend trip to Scotland in a snowstorm in hopes that it will somehow rekindle their marriage. As soon as they arrive to the house, they both know that some thing is off and not quite right. As odd things start happening they both start to realize that their goal should be to rekindle their marriage but to just make it home alive.

Next step is The Housemaid and The Housemaid Secret. These both follow the same girl, who was recently released from prison, and becomes a housemaid/nanny. Both books will keep you guessing the entire time at what comes next.

I have to mention Just the Nicest Couple, this book had so many plot twists! I love when I am constantly trying to figure out what’s going on and being proven wrong as soon as I think I have it solved. I don’t like predictable thrillers, and this one definitely had me thinking!

Last, but not least is A Flicker in the Dark. This is a mystery about a girl who’s dad was arrested as a serial killer during her childhood, but when she is near 30 it begins to happen again, and she starts to question everyone around her.
