Hey K’Fam 🤎
Do you struggle with blending your base makeup flawlessly ? I used to have a same problem .
But i found the best way but different skin has different reactions . So here’s the pros & cons of brushes & beauty blenders .
• Beauty Blender ;
Pros :
- Most blenders allow your foundation to be effectively pressed onto your skin, as well as into your skin, for a more flawless, natural look.
- They blend your makeup exceptionally, and don’t usually leave streaks or blend lines.
- In addition to this, blenders transfer the product to your skin effectively, thereby allowing you to use less foundation, and get full coverage.
- If you’ve got dry skin, a beauty blender is meant for you.
- This is because the bristles of the brush can irritate your skin and make it look flaky.
- The smooth, soft surface of a beauty blender is much gentler on the skin, and can help you flawlessly apply makeup without leaving you with a cake face.
Cons :
- As the best method of applying makeup with a blender is to ‘stipple’ it on in brief patting motions, using a beauty blender can be a tad bit time consuming.
- If you aren’t ready to spend time stippling on your makeup for a perfect look, it’s probably best to pass on the beauty blender.
- Also, as mentioned in the pros section, a beauty blender uses lesser product, and it’s because of this that it doesn’t work too well with light coverage foundations—you’ll only end up using a lot more foundation and will end up spending more.
- Finally, a beauty blender needs to ideally be cleaned after every use—something that a lot of us don’t really have the time or patience for.
Brush ;
Pros :
- If you're looking for an airbrushed look, a makeup brush is your best bet.
- Brushes are a lot more endable and can be extremely precise when it comes to the application of foundation.
- Makeup brushes are also ideal if you're the kind of person who prefers powder to liquid foundation—that's how versatile brushes are.
- It's also way easier to build coverage with a makeup brush.
Cons :
- Although you don't have to clean your makeup brushes as often as a beauty blender, a makeup brush does need to be cleaned, and requires a special cleanser—a cleanser that is usually quite expensive.
- In addition to this, there's always the risk of a brush leaving your face looking streaked, and can also make your blend lines visible, which makes your look seem totally unnatural.
This two type is super versatile ! You guys can choose according to the makeup look you guys wants to achieve 😍
