I found myself craving for cake or pancake or calorie dense food in the morning and I reallly wanted to eat pancakes so ta daa found this recipe online to satisy your cravings guilt freeee ~
what you’ll need:
- 4 tbsp dry oatmeal
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup milk (i used almond milk)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- (optional) stevia/no cal sugar (for more sweetness)
**Tho this is the og recipe, I tweaked it a bit by adding:
- a few more tbsps of oats (so 6-7 tbsps in total)
- a tad bit of flour (maybe 2 tsp? I roughly threw a bit in)
- and lesser milk (aka I put arnd 6/7 tbsps instead of 10 (which 10 tbsps ish equates to 2/3 cup apparently)
bc i was skeptical about the watery consistency, tho it still ended up looking kinda watery but ended up fine!
ok anyway, then
-> mix mix mix (i used a blender to get a smoother texture)
-> spray or put a little bit of oil on your pan and starting cooking ~
-> flip when it looks half cooked / has a few bubbles, or basically when its hardened enough to flip
-> add ur preferred syrup and toppings and ta daaaa, enjoy!
P.S. I ended up adding more maple syrup since it wasn’t sweet at all imo (tho i added a packet of 0 cal sugar)
