Do I have Blush Blindess??

I just recently started trying to wear blush.. literally walked into ulta and asked for the best brand and a brush. I feel like I like it, but does it look too rosy for my cheeks ? I applied it the other day and my mom said I looked sick 😭. i’ll take recommendations on color, or my application !! I just need helppp.
