Easy Guide to Gotemba Premium Outlet!

I just got back from my week-long Japan trip and the Gotemba Premium Outlet was one of the best places I've shopped at. Items were all marked down significantly.

Long Champ Le Pliage —> Under $200

Gucci Wallet —> $550 (Price in SG: $850)

Gucci Shoulder Bag —> $2025 (Price in SG: $3436)

With that said, here's my guide to getting from Tokyo to the premium outlet with a majestic view of Mt. Fuji.

1. Go to japanbusonline.com and select your preferred language.

2. Click on view all routes and scroll down to Shinjuku to Hakone/Gotemba/Premium Outlets.

3. Choose your date and timing (both to there and back)

4. Select the number of pax and pay. (I paid with my you trip card, so for a two-way trip is around SGD30 with a 118.5 exchange rate)

** remember to print out the email sent to you

When you’ve reached Shinjuku Station, exit the station and find the sign that points to the bus terminal (BUSTA Shinjuku). You will probably need to cross the road and head to level 4F.

Walk over to the counter and show the staff your printed email confirmation. They will let you know which berth to board from. Usually, you will be able to board 10 mins early. So make sure you're on time!

As for the outlet back to Shinjuku, check the relevant information/time/berth of where you should board your bus from.
