Why do Americans dress so provocative?

Maybe I’m just not that informed in American culture…. But why do celebrities and people push the agenda of not wearing clothes in America??

I see a lot of young ladies and younger celebrities pushing the idea that more skin is sexy etc….. I’m just confused on how that makes a woman sexy?! And I’m not talking about wearing shorts and a strap t-shirt…. I’m talking about having your a** and breast hanging out while walking down the street to go grab something to the store and I see people walking around in Walmart in club clothes. As someone who grew up in a more modest household with strict parents I cannot fathom it. I would never let my daughter out the house the way some of these young ladies dress.
