Preparing for hurricane Milton

If you guys didn’t know, I do live in South Florida. As we prepare for another hurricane, my preparation plans are a little different than others.

I’m truly not worried about the food or the water just electricity and making sure I have material at home to upcycle .

Before anyone comes to me and my safety in the comments, I always have cases of bottled water and canned foods at home.

The last three days it has been pouring like crazy! today’s Monday, my local favorite thrift store doesn’t open until Wednesday. I may have to venture out and hit up a different thrift store to find some fabulous materials / table cloths etc... while it storms outside I can wear my cosy blanket outfit and do more sewing lol
