My body before, during and after pregnancy 🤰🏽

I wanted to be super transparent about my pregnancy, more specifically my body before, during and after. Sometimes when I’m scrolling on the pregnancy side of TikTok or lemon8 I’ll see people say all of the horrible things that pregnancy does or can do to your body. While that is completely valid and I’m so glad people are sharing their truths and talking about the risks and what can happen to your body, I feel like its equally important to shed a positive light on pregnancy. I feel like seeing only negative things about pregnancy can make a lot of women scared when they become pregnant. I remember being terrified and crying to my child’s father that my body would never be the same after I had my daughter, that pregnancy would destroy my body, and God that’s such a terrible feeling. But I really had nothing to fear because pregnancy did not destroy my body like I was told and thought it would. I am now 13 months postpartum and I can honestly say I loved my pregnancy and being pregnant! I can’t wait(I def can🤣) to do it again.

I know everybody and every body is different but regardless your body is supporting a whole little life PLUS you as well. Please be kind to your body and remember that you are your baby’s first home, and you’re growing a tiny human!
