come with me on a day trip to salem

i went on a day trip to salem yesterday with my family. we got dunkin on the way there and i tried the halloween menu item the poison macchiato. it was pretty and yummy. we got to salem around 11 and it was already super busy it took my dad hours to park! the first thing we did was go to the halloween fair in the commons which had a bunch of vendors and a couple rides. i bought 2 tshirts here. next we went on the main strip to walk around and shop. there were tons of actors in costumes that you could take photos with and also a bunch of people in costumes just visiting. it is super fun to just people watch. we went to emporium 32 which is a must do shop. basically every single store had a line to wait in to get in. i bought a candle here. we continued shopping until deciding to have lunch. we went to koto asian fusion which was soooo good! i got a sushi combo which was 24 pieces of sushi and miso soup for only $25!!. my cousin got some of the best sushi i have ever had. they also had poke bowls and ramen. afterwards we continued shopping until going to the halloween musuem. it was $10 for a quick 3d walk through that was pretty cool. black craft is another must visit shop as it has the biggest witch’s statue on the ceiling. salem in october is a must do at least once!! it was crazy busy though and honestly better to visit in the spring. let me know if you want a haul of what i bought there! #salem #massachusetts #halloween #shopping #sushi
