Why I am no longer platinum blonde

I used to bleach my hair religiously. I was in the salon every few months getting a touchup. I had been bleaching my hair platinum blonde since middle school. I honestly didn’t even know what the shade of natural hair. The last time I was in the salon to get platinum hair was right before my wedding that was in 2020 right before the world shut down.

I remember between bleachings, my hair would constantly look greasy because my roots would look so dark against the bright blonde. During Covid I started to let my hair grow out. Duh, I didn’t have a choice with salons being closed and I actually started to see my real blonde. I decided when salons opened up to try to get back to my natural shade. I have not regretted it one bit, it has been four years since I had gone platinum, and I have seen major differences. First of all my hair has gotten so much thicker and less frizzy. Probably from not bleaching it all the time and also from actually using good hair products. I feel like my natural color brings more life and into my face. The platinum blonde washed me out so bad, and looking back I can’t believe I ever thought it looked good on my skin type. I save so much money by not bleaching my hair anymore and it feels so much healthier.
