My Dream Wedding…

I’ve always wanted a small and personal backyard wedding. Here is some of the ideas I’ve composed from Pinterest and other weddings I’ve attended in the last few years💍

• My color scheme will be Sage Green, Burnt Orange/Rust, and Beige. I think the muted tones will complement the outdoor rustic theme I’m going for

• For the bridal parties I would like the bridesmaids to wear whatever they feel the best in as long as it’s in the color scheme. I like the look of variety. The Groomsmen will wear suit tops and jeans with boots

• I want flower guys instead of flower girls. I think the hint of comedy in the ceremony makes it more enjoyable for everyone

• I also will be having a Man of Honor instead of a Maid of Honor because there is no one else I want standing by my side for my big day other than my cousin

• Instead of having guests sign a book that I will probably never look at, I want all the guest to take a Polaroid with their group or plus one they’re attending with. I can add the Polaroids to a cute frame like the picture shows and hang it in my home for my partner and I to look at all the time

• For dessert options I want a family recipe dessert table for variety and s’mores to end the night. We will have a personal cake for the groom and I to cut

As for rules…

• I want to limit the wedding to 100 people so plus ones have to be approved. I don’t really want to spend money on people I don’t know for my special day

• I will allow children if they are close family

• I plan on walking myself down the isle because there are too men fatherly figures in my life I can’t choose one

• We need to have an amazing DJ

• During the ceremony we will exchange the normal vows and do private hand written vows in place of a first look
