Jewelry I Thrifted in New Orleans

I recently went to New Orleans, and I can’t go to a new city and not check out their vintage scene. A few locals recommended checking out the Magazine Antique Mall, and they definitely knew what they were talking about. The place is absolutely massive, and they have EVERYTHING. The whole layout is made of booths, but you really have to dig to find what you are looking for. They have everything from vintage mink coats to 90s digital cameras to Victorian sconces to unopened NCAA Coca Cola bottles from 1994. Prices ranged from $10 into the thousands for jewelry, so there really is something for everyone.

🛍️Bracelets:

I got a vintage Fossil watch for $65. I do have to take it to the jewelers to get it adjusted, but I love how retro it looks. It’s more bracelet than watch, so I’m excited to add it to my rotation. Next, I found a gold chain bracelet with crystals through the center. It was originally $90, but I ended up getting it for only $35.

And then I found my absolute favorite piece. I’ve been on the hunt for a cameo necklace, and they definitely delivered. I found a beautiful orange version but it was almost $500. I kept looking, and found this black cameo necklace for $28. As I was checking out, I also spotted this little pearl necklace. Another piece I’ve been trying to find, and I was able to check two pieces off my list in one trip! The pearls ended up being only $30, so there were no hesitations there!

Lastly, I spotted this 80s beaded pearl hair clip. At first I was hoping it was a brooch, but once they pulled it out I was sold on the hair clip. I’ve been trying to elevate my hair accessories, so I immediately took it home.
