TIPS FOR STARTING YOUR OWN BRAND | Step by Step

Starting your own label or brand can be SO exciting! I was blessed to start my own athleisure / everyday basics line called Glow the Label! Check us out and support us if you’d like⚡️👏🏻

Wanted to share some of our steps to our launch in hopes it can help others follow their dreams!!

1. Create a business plan

I’m not talking about just writing out your ideas. I mean a WHOLEEEE business plan! Write out the company’s mission, the vision, etc! Who is your target audience? What goals do you have for the business? How will you achieve those goals? There are tons of Etsy templates for business plans to help you get started!

2. Start putting feelers out there with vendors/manufacturers.

Are you going to produce in the US or overseas? Compare quality and costs! It’s a good idea to order lots of samples first so you can see what you like/dislike.

3. Create a content / marketing strategy

Once you determine your target audience, figure out how to reach them! What will you post on social media to captivate and frap this person’s attention? What keywords will your brand embody? What message do you want to portray? How will you build up a social media pretense for the brand?

4. Create a budget / supplies list

There is wayyyyy more that goes into building a brand than you think. There is packaging, shipping labels, shipping equipment, tagging equipment, inventory, etc! Having a list of everything you may need will help you to create a realistic budget!
