Hey everyone! I saw a handful of comments on some old posts during my breakup hoping I was still “unf*cking my life”. Although I’ve been too busy to post, I wanted to come on here and show everyone what I’ve been up to in case anyone was interested or going through something similar. Healing definitely isn’t linear, and although I’m doing much better, every day is different. Some are really good, and occasionally I’ll randomly get sad, and that’s okay!! Since the breakup I’ve been putting myself first and have been working on being more appreciative of the beautiful people in my life. I spend most of my time with my amazing friends, whether it’s grabbing a meal at the house or a super fun Easter brunch that ya girl hosted for everyone! I’ve also begun making a flower bouquet for my desk each month. I’ve always LOVED flowers (peonies are my fav), but I always just thought of them for special occasions (which is NOT the case). I’ve started throwing pottery again to de-stress, hot-girl walks are still in the routine, and eating things that make me feel good rather than giving into cravings that leave me bloated or feeling bad. I’ve also still kept up my gym progress and have been feeling pretty good about it even though my gym partner is MIA :(. Overall, I just wanted to tell anyone who needs to hear this: it gets better. Of course I have days where I don’t want to leave my bed or look in the mirror, but those days come to an end like every other, and we should appreciate that we get another day. I love the Lemon8 community, and thank you so so much for all of your wonderful and caring comments 🩷🩷
