SLT Flatiron is a total body workout designed to build lean muscle without impact. I attended their All Levels class, which is 50 mins long. Grip socks are required - you can purchase them at the studio or bring your own!

ATMOSPHERE:

SLT is a good spot for beginners. The studio isn’t too dark and the music is playing at the right volume so you can hear the instructor speak. The environment is encouraging and in my opinion, not intimidating like some other workout studios.

PROS:

👍Classes are challenging, which is what I want when I’m paying for a workout.

👍Instructors are very knowledgeable and will help you with modifications and corrections.

👍The workout is low impact, but still very effective. I don’t like heavy cardio or workouts that put too much stress on my body.

CONS:

👎SLT is pretty expensive. $42 for a single class is crazy - that’s like a meal or two!
