I’m Pregnant what do I do know?

Congratulations! You’re going to be a mommy! How exciting yet little terrifying is it? I remember when I got my positive test I was happy but also feeling like 10 different emotions!

This was my very first time seeing a positive pregnancy test and I had NO IDEA WHAT TO DO NEXT!!???!!!

Do I just sit and wait? Do I take another test to make sure it’s real lol, do I tell everyone? What am I supposed to do? Am I supposed to eat certain foods? Stop exercising? HELPPP

here’s what your going to do:

1. Celebrate and soak in every single minute of it! It truly flies by so quick, before you know it you’re 9 months pregnant ready to give birth! Don’t feel rushed to tell everyone, make a huge announcement ( if you do go ahead by all means). Take it slow, enjoy it!

2. Time to contact your OBGYN: make sure that you know when was your last period, be ready to get asked a MILLION questions, most doctors will not see you until you are 6 WEEKS PREGNANT!

3. Write out ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS: being pregnant for the first time of course you’re going to think of a million questions and have many concerns and that’s NORMAL! Ask ALLL THE QUESTIONS you have.

4. Start taking that PRENATAL VITAMIN: ask your doctor which prenatal vitamin they recommend! Make sure to look for folate, calcium and iron!

5. Make sure to check and change your household products: there are certain skincare/ makeup ingredients, cleaning products and pet products that you should try and avoid during pregnancy! Try opting for cleaner ingredients!
