After my initial visit, I was so enamored with the food that I promptly made a reservation for brunch a few days later. Supernova, nestled on the bustling Tanjong Katong road, boasts a thoughtfully curated menu that may be limited in options, but certainly not in quality.

While the prices may lean towards the higher end, I found them to be well worth it for the exceptional caliber of the dishes. This establishment truly lives up to the hype, with an ambiance that is perfectly suited for a leisurely Sunday brunch, and a culinary experience that is simply divine.

1. FRIED CHICKEN FRENCH TOAST- 9.5/10($24.50)🍗🍞

Allow me to sing praises for the Fried Chicken French Toast, a dish that is truly to die for! The shokupan french toast, flawlessly fluffy and delicately sweet, harmonizes beautifully with the savory fried chicken. The chicken itself boasts a tantalizingly crispy exterior, while remaining tender and succulent on the inside. When drizzled with hot maple syrup and compound garlic butter, each bite is a revelation. The delightful combination of savory and sweet flavors is a true masterpiece. I cannot recommend this dish highly enough.

2.Bacon Pumpkin Rigatoni-8.5/10($21)🥓

Moving on to the Bacon Pumpkin Rigatoni, I found myself thoroughly impressed. The portion size was generous, with an ample amount of bacon and shimeji mushrooms. The bacon was expertly fried, striking the perfect balance between crispness and tenderness. The al-dente rigatoni provided a satisfying chewiness, while the sauce-coated shimeji mushrooms added a delightful touch. The cream-based sauce, reminiscent of hollandaise and cream sauce, evoked memories of a luscious carbonara. While the pumpkin flavor could have been more pronounced, the dish was elevated by the accompanying sourdough, which paired harmoniously with the sauce.

While undeniably delicious, I must admit that the richness of the flavors did become slightly overwhelming after a few bites.

5. Iced earl grey tea w milkstache foam-9.5/10 ($8)

To quench my thirst, I opted for the Iced Earl Grey Tea with Milkstache Foam, and it proved to be a revelation. This beverage stands as a testament to the art of tea-making, with its perfectly balanced sweetness and the delightful addition of milkstache foam. It is, without a doubt, one of the finest iced teas I have ever had the pleasure of sipping.

While it is true that the prices at Supernova lean towards the higher end, I firmly believe that the quality of the food justifies the cost. A visit to this establishment is an experience that should not be missed.
