Must visit baba nyonya cafe in Malacca✨

Hey everyone! There is this cute Baba cafe in Malacca that you just can’t miss😍It’s just 450m from Jonker Street and right by the Melaka river, super easy to find. The owner is so friendly 🏡

They serve not only toast bread but also local delicacies such as nasi lemak, curry mee, and more! The highlight of their menu is the Baba Kaya Signature (RM6)! 🍞🥥 It’s this amazing homemade tri-colored Nyonya kaya dip on toast with butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon🤤 We already looked at the menu before going, so we knew this kaya toast was a must-try for us.

We also ordered their signature masala tea (RM7) ☕. The owner said it’s a super old recipe, like 156 years old! Passed down through families, it’s made with 8 different herbs and spices🌿✨

For me, the toast bread and tea were pretty good! However, we were hoping for a stronger coconut flavor in the kaya 🥭🥥, but the tea was a hit.

Lastly, you can take awesome pics all around the cafe and by the Melaka riverside✨. There are a lot of vintage props and decorations that you hardly see now! 🤩📸

💡Tips: If the sun’s not too hot, grab a seat outside and soak in the view. 💫 They also serve different menus for night sessions!
