Fall Baking 🧡

🧡 Heat on medium-low heat 1 cup of apple cider until it is reduced to about 1/4 cup. (This takes about 15 minutes) Set aside to cool.

🧡Mix 2 cups flour, 1 tsp cinnamon, pinch of allspice, 1/2 tsp baking soda, and 1/2 tsp salt. Set aside

🧡 Beat together 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1/4 cup granulated sugar until light & fluffy. Add 1 egg, 3 TBSP of the reduced apple cider, and 1 tsp vanilla extract.

🧡 Once well combined, slowly add in the dry ingredients until a dough forms.

🤎 Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes.

🧡 Scoop dough into 2 inch balls, roll in cinnamon sugar, and place on baking sheet.

🤎 Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.

🧡 Combine 1/2 cup powder sugar & 2 - 3 TBSP of reduced apple cider to make glaze.
