i paid $88 for unlimited bleach and colour??😵

YES zesties🍋!! i am not scamming u w the title.. i actually found a too good to be true kinda deal and m going to share my salon experience w u today!

i first saw an ad on ig from the acc ‘thisishairsalon’ for a $88 bleach and colour package, which i think is a “re-opening” promo as they stopped being active for awhile after 2021 and came back w newly opened outlets n everyt.after comparing with other salons, which usual bleaching services can go up to $300 i immediately dmed them and booked an appointment that same week 😅😅

however once my booking was confirmed i started having doubts like.. is this a scam anot, how can so cheap one.. then later at some ulu ulu place n they fuck up my hair how,, but after stalking their highlights it seemed pretty legit (i mean as far as legit goes on ig stories HAHA) so i decided to js take the risk cos what’s the worst that could happen rightt

so the location was at their lavender outlet- at aqueen prestige hotel nd apparently it’s one of their newly opened outlets so not everyt is in place yet.. if u can see in the first pic they havent even got their main door put in yet HAHAHA ITS JS A SHUTTER THAN THEY ROLL UP AND DOWN 😭😭😭i’ll say the place itself is quite tiny tho with 3 seats n like one of the hair washing stations

i showed my stylist, louis, the haircut n colour i wanted (either blonde w pink highlights or js full pink) and he warned me that it might be darker becos since i needed to be like super light blonde n he was scared my hair would break off since my ends had alrd been bleached a few times before which i kinda expected so i said that’s okay w me n so we started the process which took arnd 5.5 hours in total to bleach, colour, cut n style my hair~~

so as u can tell from the pics i walked out with a bright pinkish- purple which i’ll be honest i don’t hate but its obv not what i asked for la but i knew it would fade to be lighter n closer to my ideal colour- as louis also informed me so i was pretty fine w it n was actually rlly feeling the barney energy😋 i did however start washing my hair everyday so it’ll fade faster tho so it faded to a nice peachy colour after only 2 days w hot showers hehe

things to note:

- the package does NOT include haircut or treatment ,, haircut is extra $28-$38 and treatment is $88 if i’m not wrong

- they don’t rlly have a wide range of hair colours to choose from,, like they prob only have 1 or 2 shades for creative colour so if ur looking for a very specific shade i think ask them first before booking

- the bleach BURNS bruh my scalp usually only abit itchy when bleaching but this time like a lil painful HAHAHA but still can tahan la,,they will also ask if u wanna bleach nearer to but not directly on the scalp or not so if u have sensitive scalp def opt for that instead!

final verdict:

- there were 3 stylists working at the time and they’re all very friendly, experienced and knowledgeable w their craft so they 100% know what they’re doing and what’s best for u n ur hair

- they don’t hardsell anyt, just recommend services but if u reject they don’t pressure u into anyt which is a nice change from the usual pushy salon aunties LOL

- they are very transparent with how they think the results will turn out which i rlly appreciate cos some salons js tell u yes to get u to sit in their chair and pay them for smt u hate so do prepare for the possibility of being disappointed

- louis kept checking in w me every step of the way (asking if it’s pain,, if i prefer shorter etcetc) so ya it’ll feel like ur comfort is rlly top priority

overall their service is rlly top notch so id def recommend if ur on a budget (or even if ur not,they’re rlly good) !! go n show them some love~~
