Romanticize Snow Days 🤍

This week, Arkansas has been extremely cold and snowy. I normally hate snowy weather purely because Arkansas road crews don’t know how to handle it/keep roads clear so I almost always end up being shut in my home for several days at a time.

This year I decided to look at the positives of the situation and take the opportunity to romanticize being hold up in my apartment for a few days.

Here are some things you can do to keep yourself from getting the snow day blues:

- light a candle (make it cozy) and get some work done that you have meaning to get done - finance stuff, side hustle work, etc

- make some tea (or another hot drink) and read a book you have been meaning to read

- put on a comfort show/movie (I chose Harry Potter) and get organized! (I bought this very useful life planner on Etsy that was on sale for $8)

- bake something - there is nothing better on a cold day than getting in the kitchen and making something hot and sweet

other ideas:

- self care day

- go for a walk through the snow (if the temps aren’t in the negatives 🥶)

- put together a puzzle
