The biggest lesson grief has taught me

After losing my dad unexpectedly almost 6 weeks ago it is still hard to even believe.

The waves of sadness never seem to stop and sometimes feel like they come out of nowhere

But what helps me the most in those moments is reminding myself that I would rather feel this sadness a millions time than to never think about him again.

Feeling the grief and heartbreak is so hard to experience but every moment of grief is a moment I choose to feel his presence surrounding me.

Everyday is hard and it hasn’t gotten any easier but I never want to lose the feeling of missing him!
