How I do my Dark Femme makeup

Ok so normally I only have one makeup look, I have excelled at this one look but I’m not normally adventurous with my makeup to say the least. I wanted to elevate my no makeup, makeup look by creating a no makeup, dark femme makeup look. (This is 💯 my vibe) here’s how

1. Halo glow/ foundation mixture

Mix halo glow and your foundation so a glowy creamy look. I like to use revlon 24 hour stay in shade beige and mix with the medium shade in halo glow. Gives me a nice tan glowy complexion.

2. Contour (nyx contour stick)

Contour your face, my favorite spots to contour are cheek bones, my jawline, and hairline. Make sure to blend really well. This makes my features looks sharper and more femme fetale

3. Warm brown/ chocolate brown eyeshadow combo

For me a black Smokey eye look is just too much, it looks kind of costumey on me. That’s why I opt for a chocolate brown Smokey eye. It makes my blue eyes pop and looks much more natural on me. My all time favorite palette is the too face chocolate palette.

4. Translucent powder

Top with a pigment free loose powder, my favorite is the Laura Mercier translucent powder. It keeps my oily skin matte all day and does not break out my sensitive skin.

5. Arch those brows

one of the most important parts to a dark femme look is the eyebrows. I noticed they all have super sharp arched eyebrows. I have high rounded eyebrows so to get that arch, I shaved the tips of my brows and fill it in with brow pencil to create a sharp line. To set the brow and make it full and fluffy I finish it off with a great tinted brow gel.

6. Neutral mauve blush

A good neutral rose mauve color is best for that natural subtle glow. I place the blush high up on my cheekbones for a more lifted look.

7. Smoked pencil eyeliner

This part is optional, but a good gently smudged pencil eyeliner look, creates a more sexy messy feel to your makeup look.

8. Brown stain for lips & moles/freckles

This is the biggest trick, I use this semi permanent light brown eyebrow gel for pretty much everything! You can use it to over line your lips, rub it in to create a subtle fuller looking lips. Place clear gloss on top to finish the lip look. I also use this product to darken my freckles and moles covered up by makeup. I love all my beauty marks and this is such a subtle way to show it off, doing this will also make it seem like you aren’t wearing any foundation.
