Reviewing my Favorite Books! 📖

1) Dance of Theives by Mary E. Pearson (YA fantasy romance)

📖What's it about: “A legendary street thief leading a mission, determined to prove herself. A dark secret that is a threat to the entire continent. When outlaw leader meets reformed thief, a cat-and-mouse game of false moves ensues, bringing them intimately together in a battle that may cost them their lives—and their hearts.”

💭Thoughts: I love this book, I loved the forced proximity aspect of it and how much bickering happened between Kaz and Jase. One of my favorite enemies to lovers!

2) All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven (YA cont. romance)

📖What's it about: “Violet and Finch are both struggling in different ways and come from very different crowds at school so their paths don’t tend to cross, until one day where they meet on the edge of their high school’s bell tower.”

💭Thoughts: This was an extremely sad book and has me bawling. It’s one of those books that you read when you need a cry. I could read this book over and over again and still sob. Just a little warning… However, it’s a fantastic book with so many life lessons you can learn from.

3)Archers Voice by Mia Sheridan (ADULT romance)

📖What's it about: “Archer is a practical outcast in the town, he is mute and has a painful past he would much rather forget but then he has to face his demons when he falls hard for this beautiful stranger whose kind smile and compassionate heart makes him believe in love and life again.”

💭Thoughts: oh my gosh. Archer Hale. That’s all. You might wonder how can a book made of word portray a person who doesn’t speak? Well, let me tell you, Mia does a fantastic job at making it feel like you are inside the book and experiencing everything that goes on. Amazing. Did I mention spicy, too?

4) The Fault in our Stars by John Green (YA cont. romance)

📖What's it about: “The Fault in Our Stars by John Green is a young adult fiction novel that narrates the story of a 16-year-old girl who is diagnosed with cancer. She joins a support group where she meets Augustus, and there is a rollercoaster of emotions throughout this novel as the relationship between Hazel and Augustus develops.”

💭Thoughts: Along with All The Bright Places this is another favorite book of mine that i read solely for the purpose of crying my eyes out. It’s so beautiful and saddening at the same time with a romance you’d die for.

5) Crescent City any Sara J. Mass (NA fantasy romance)

📖What's it about: “The story begins with Bryce quinlan who’s half fae and half human. She loves partying in the clubs, hooking up with strangers, and hanging out with her three best friends. She works as an antiquities dealer. When one of her best friend Danika who’s a werewolf gets brutally murdered by a demon, she’s devastated. The case was closed after the accused was sent behind the bars. After two years, when the same murders occurs again Bryce realizes that her friend’s murderer was still alive out there. To help solve the case, she was accompanied by a fallen angel named Hunt Athalar. During their search, many dark secrets are revealed and they believe that things are much bigger than they thought it would be. While fighting their attraction to each other, Bryce and Hunt have to find the killer before it’s too late.”

💭Thoughts: this book was extremely well put together and gets you hooked from the start. The main characters are both tough and bad ass which clashes often causing an overload of tension. At times, I found it to be too slow, but if you love a super slow burn, this is the perfect book for you
