I can't sign up for classes

Last semester, I was on a payment plan through my college to pay off my tuition for the year. Due to their outdated system, I got kicked off the payment plan, and a "hold" was put on my account, essentially implying that I'm not paying the bill. My family and I contacted the Bursar's office, and they told us to just pay the bill like we are on the payment plan and everything will be fine. Fast forward to now, where I can't register for classes for Fall 2024 because I have this hold on my account. Luckily, I had an event where I got to meet a member of the board of regents for my college. I took a chance and asked her for advice on the situation, and I saw immediate results. I am so grateful for her help.
